Kannada cinema industry is showing way for others in the Indian cinema industry – here is example No.2 from ‘Dodmane Hudga’ of producer M Govindu – on the same day August 14, at 3 pm, Nagarahavu team of producer Sajid Quereshi donated Rs.1 lakh each to poor 25 patients of different government hospitals at a function in NIMHANS, Rajiv Gandhi Hospital block. Apparently – Dodmane Hudga and Nagarahavu films released audio CD on the same day.


A few hours later at Sri Siddaganga Math, Sri Shivakumara Swamiji ‘Nadedaduva Daiva’ was felicitated and in the presence of Dodmane Hudga team and 10000 plus children at the prayer time at 6 pm Rs.5 lakh was donated to Sri Siddaganga Kshetra that is doing ‘Tridasoha’ (Aanna, Vidye and Shelter).


Power Star Puneeth Rajakumar present with his wife Smt Ashwini donated Rs.2 lakhs. Producer of Dodmane Hudga besides Rs.5 lakhs donated Rs.50000 to five patriots who have given their life to country from Karnataka. Five mothers of soldiers and bureaucrat DK Ravi who died in mysterious circumstances – his mother Smt Gowramma was also given donation on this occasion.


Dr Ambarish, Dr Bharathi Vishnuvardhana, director Soori, Yogaraj Bhat, Ravishanker and others joined in the audio release of the film ‘Dodmane Hudga’.


Power star Puneeth Rajakumar speaking on this occasion said when he was six years his father Dr Rajakumar brought him to this place first and I got the blessings. I am having the devotion from that young age to this Sri Siddaganga Kshetra he said.
